Turtle is actively searching for an experienced Switchgear Project Manager to join our team in Clark, NJ. The PM is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of ongoing large projects from order entry to project closeout, managing customer expectations, and taking the lead technically and commercially coordinating with contractors and manufacturers quoting, and an integral part of the T&H PD&AS sales team

About the Role:
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of an assignment and customer satisfaction
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and achieve superior order management and customer service from order entry to closeout.
- Responsible for managing large power distribution projects.
- Must be proficient in reading blueprints and electrical plans and specifications
- Must be highly organized and efficient to multitask projects from order entry to closeout.
- Maintain project schedule and deadlines and manage customer expectations.
- Accountability for timely completion and profitability of projects.
- Responsible for increasing the profit margin of a project through efficient salesmanship and management.
- Manages and coordinates with all parties involved in the projects, both internal and external.
- Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting, communication, and documentation.
- Keeps detailed records on pricing quotes, change orders and all correspondence both internally and externally.
- Keeps the companies best interests in mind while performing job.
- Maintains confidentiality of propriety and sensitive business information.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Degree, or field experience as an electrician.
- 10 + years of experience in the electrical business.
- 5 + years of experience in switchgear estimating and/or project management.
- Highly desirable to have experience working directly with Electrical Contractors
- Product knowledge of Medium voltage switchgear and relaying.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Proven experience in risk management.
- PMP Certification
