Are you ready to take the helm of high-stakes construction projects and steer them to success? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an incredible opportunity to work on local projects, offering top-tier compensation for your expertise. With a focus on concrete, demolition, remediation, excavating, excavation, and paving, you will be the driving force behind our most ambitious construction endeavors.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be the linchpin of our construction projects, coordinating all stages from initial planning to final completion. This role will require you to:
1. Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects with specified deliverables.
2. Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management.
3. Determine the resources required to complete the project.
4. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
5. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders.
7. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
9. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
10. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
11. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Project Manager position, you should possess the following:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, specifically with a focus on concrete, demolition, remediation, excavating, excavation, and paving.
2. A proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
3. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
4. Proficiency in project management software tools.
5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
6. Solid understanding of risk management and ability to handle potential issues proactively.
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
9. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
