Project Manager - AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Responsibilities include assisting with release planning and coordination, supporting implementation and post-implementation activities, and ensuring effective communication and issue resolution during the release process.

 

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Release Manager in developing and executing comprehensive release strategies.

• Coordinating across work streams, vendors, and priorities for the creation of the Release Calendar/Plan.

• Tracking deployments and facilitating release notes for all deployments.

• Supporting defect triage and facilitating the resolution of release issues to keep the program on track.

• Creating integrated cutover plans, technical runbooks, and coordinating implementation activities.

• Ensuring all post-go-live support processes are in place and providing 24x7 release support coverage.

• Facilitating dry runs, managing rollback decisions, and coordinating with infrastructure and other teams.

• Tracking incidents through issue trackers (JIRA/ALM) and maintaining release management artifacts in the central repository.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on release management.

• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work across varying time zones and schedules.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
