Project Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 06 Months plus Contract
Rate: DOE
US Citizen, GC holders, GC-EAD Preferred
Required :
Own the Release Management lifecycle; which includes scheduling, and coordinating releases to various platforms and the management of releases across the enterprise
• Lead and co-ordinate the release activities through the implementation phase (i.e. including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists)
• Build & maintain strong and effective relationships with portfolio and development teams
• Identify, analyze, respond to, track and manage release related risks and issues to ensure uninterrupted customer service
• Participate in application project status meetings and participate in enterprise CAB meetings
• Partner with development project managers to ensure resources for a given release match the effort
• Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
• Manage the impact that a given change or bundle of changes entering the production environment has on associated stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with all participants in agile software development projects and support developers and testers as they set up their development and test environments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 6 - 8 years of Project/ program management
• Experience in a change management environment
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience in an Agile/DevOps Environment
