Civile Project Manager
My client is a well-established, well respected Heavy Civil company with locations in Florida and South Carolina. They are currently seeking a very competent Project Manager to oversee projects focused on civil sitework in the residential and industrial commercial market sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Understand how to run large projects from cradle to grave
- Manage and coordinate meetings with Clients & stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate with superintendents and estimators
- Meet with subcontractors and service providers to determine requirements and ensure implementation.
- Track associated costs.
- Review design documents for conformance and accuracy.
- Develop and issue RFI & RFP protocol, award bids, negotiate contracts and manage contract delivery programs.
- Conduct site visits and issue reports to upper management and clients.
- Manage meetings, take and issue meeting minutes, responsible for reporting and tracking project progress and close out.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction/Engineering/Business or related field preferred.
- Years of experience will be accepted in place of degree.
- 5+ years in project management, site development experience preferred
- Customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to lead project teams
- Strong financial management/budgeting skills.
