Job Details
Position Summary:
Responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Duties include dividing up budgets for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, working with Operations and Engineering with selecting project team members from existing departments and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines.
Over the course of a project, Project Manager will communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule and within target budgets.
Major Duties:
1. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
2. Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
3. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
4. Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in cooperation.
5. Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
6. Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
7. Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
1. Support sales presentations.
a. Attend customer line up meetings.
b. Visit customer plants.
c. Participate in the development of sales presentation strategies and materials.
8. Review and completely understand customer requirements and
specifications.
a. Terms and conditions.
b. Plant and corporate specifications.
c. Preferred vendor listings.
d. Part and assembly drawings and specifications.
e. Project specific quotation requirements.
9. Initiate internal concept review and brainstorming meetings.
10. Obtain vendor quotations on critical equipment.
a. Develop technical specifications.
b. Identify qualified vendors.
c. Communicate with vendors via phone, fax, and mail to provide
line-ups, develop alternative solutions, receive, and clarify quotations.
11. Develop quotations and proposals.
a. System and station descriptions.
b. Specification responses.
c. Price breakdowns.
d. Terms and conditions.
12. Identify and resolve problems.
a. Work with technical and commercial experts as required.
b. Obtain outside/vendor technical assistance.
c. Alert management to critical unresolved issues in a timely manner.
13. Maintain accurate project documentation.
14. Obtain final pricing and delivery decisions.
15. Finalize and transmit the proposal on schedule.
16. Understands customer specifications and objective of the project.
17. Establish and execute the timeline for the project per the customer requirements.
18. Adhere to the project budget.
19. Capable of communicating to the various divisions (electrical, mechanical), in the company, and ensuring their understanding of the tasks at hand.
20. Interface with and provide support to all operational departments including Sales, Service and Applications.
21. Address all the customer concerns and requirements.
22. Regular reporting of project progress and status to the customer and management.
23. Manage supplier and subcontractors’ relations on the project.
24. Participate on all the meetings regarding the project execution and progress.
25. Responsible for the design, manufacturing, assembly, debug, try-out, run-off, teardown, shipment, installation, start-up, and buyoff for all assigned projects.
26. Responsible for the delivery of all the as built drawings, manuals, and documentation to the customer.
27. Manage customer change orders.
28. Conduct all project meetings.
29. Review the overall performance of the project with departmental managers and provide input on how we can make improvements for future projects.
30. Assisting in collecting all payments from customers.
31. Serve as the Project Engineer on projects as needed.

Required Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management and or PMP.
- 5+ years’ experience.
- 5+ years working for a company that sells assembly machines and other.
- Must have 5+ years.
- Must be experienced in systems around power and free conveyance, dials, indexing tables, walking beams and other forms of transport.
- Must have a wide variety of experience with different types of assembly machines (fastening, pick/place, testing, feeding).
- Must project a professional appearance and attitude.
- Must have good customer relation skills.
- Must possess superior organizational skills.
- Good communicator-presentation and technical writing skills.
- Must have strong leadership skills and Interpersonal skills.
- Must be decisive in quick decision-making.
