Key skills required for the job are:
- Project Management : Significant Practical Experience in using Project Management concepts and techniques (EXPERT) Practicing Project manager with sufficient experience Will be responsible for medium to large sized projects or projects of moderate to high criticality (defined by internal and customer context) and be able to handle projects with varying scope and conflict, largely independently with only pointed/limited guidance/supervision from line/practice manager Will be responsible for delivering the project using organization project management/execution tools to effort, cost, schedule and quality Will be responsible for planning, tracking, reporting (internal and external) project performance (status and progress) on a periodic basis Will be responsible to evolve risk mitigation and contingency plans and be able to manage internal and external conflicts Will be responsible to engage multiple stakeholders internally and externally and make effective use of escalation channels to solve issues Will be responsible to respond to handle unusual situations and evolve suitable approaches and guide others Will be able to mentor and guide the next level project managers
- Derivatives and Risk Management : Expertise in all of the following areas: - Basic of derivative products (FRAs, futures, options, swaps --> product features, high level pricing parameters) -Understanding of basic trading strategies - Understanding of derivatives lifecycle - exchange traded / OTC - Understanding of margin and collateral management, clearing and settlement of derivatives - Understanding of Fixed Income Fundamentals - Yield, Price Calculation, Convexity, Duration
- Securities and Capital Markets : In-depth knowledge of Securities & Capital Markets Good knowledge of Securities& Capital Markets business technology landscape and geo variations. Understanding on various players in the industry and interdependencies/geovariations if any (e.g. Third Party Service Providers, Regulators etc..)Exposure to core Securities & Capital Markets systems like Flex cube, Financle,T24. Good knowledge of overall Securities & Capital Markets industry regulatoryenviornment.
