Project Manager
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Manager for a contract position in Boston, MA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: A professional in this role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are completed within the defined scope, on time, within budget, and meeting the required quality standards. They collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors, to coordinate all aspects of the project effectively.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Define the scope of the project, establish project goals, and develop a comprehensive project plan.
- Identify and manage project risks, including developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate the work of team members and vendors, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and changes.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and track expenses to ensure cost control.
- Ensure that the project is completed to the required quality standards and meets all project deliverables.
- Facilitate effective team collaboration, resolve conflicts, and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills for effectively planning and prioritizing project tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address project challenges and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Ability to help manage NA partnerships and event planning and execution of announcements with a range of NA partners like NFL, esports, Barber Council, retail partners, and more.
- Ability to lead the development of NA communications, social and influencer strategies and the design of supporting plans for Grooming NA.
- Ability to manage NA media inquiries and serve as a spokesperson as needed.
- Ability to provide day-to-day oversight of global PR agency partners including briefing, strategic & creative direction, feedback, project management, budget oversight, leveraging new technology like AI for efficiency, etc.
- Ability to provide strategic counsel/input for NA leadership.
Preferred:
- Experience with project management software for efficient project planning and tracking.
- Knowledge of specific project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, to adapt to different project requirements.
- Experience in a particular industry or sector, allowing for industry-specific project management expertise.
