Responsibilities:
- Engage regularly with clients to ensure goals and objectives are clearly understood and achieved, and collaborate with designers to realize their vision within the project’s financial constraints.
- Manage all phases of project development, from turnover from estimating to procurement, execution, and close-out phases.
- Identify project risks and implement effective risk mitigation and contingency plans.
- Oversee and prepare accurate project documentation for all phases of project execution.
- Create and maintain project schedules for both clients and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain a Cost to Complete report for each project.
- Advocate for the company during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.
- Track and submit invoices, purchase orders, and other financial commitments.
- Maintain and expand relationships with industry associates, vendors, and professional organizations, actively soliciting new partnerships.
- Participate in business development to maximize opportunities for the company.
- Lead and mentor staff assigned to support projects, including Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, construction costs, scheduling, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu, and online project management software (e.g., Procore).
