We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including ground up and renovation projects. This role requires a detailed understanding of commercial construction processes, hospital projects and excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing construction projects successfully from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Manage project budget, ensuring that all works are carried out within the allocated funds.
3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project is delivered on time and within budget.
4. Ensure all safety and quality standards are met at all times.
5. Lead and manage the project team, fostering a positive work environment.
6. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
7. Handle any issues or delays that may arise, implementing effective solutions.
8. Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors.
9. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations are met.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of three years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with experience in commercial, ground up, and renovations projects.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
3. Proven track record of managing construction projects successfully from start to finish.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Strong leadership and management skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Proficiency in project management software.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
