AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project Manager for immediate employment in our Novi, Michigan office. Imagine making a positive impact in your community, such as, rewarding environmental remediation projects.

As part of this hybrid (office and remote) role, the ideal candidate will: demonstrate experience in investigation and remediation projects, maintain a strong emphasis on health and safety, exhibit attention to detail, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, aspire to advance their career, work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.

Responsibilities for this position may include the following:

Project Management:

• Responsible for the overall management of projects and assists in establishing project-specific objectives.
• Understands site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients.
• Interacts with existing AECOM clients to discuss projects.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control.
• Oversees and ensures all facets of a project are completed in accordance with scope, budget and schedule.
• Work with team to predict resource needs and manage resources effectively.
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

Minimum Requirements

• BS/BA in engineering, geology, environmental science or a related field. 
• 6+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project/task management (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education)
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Candidate must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.  

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project/task management
• Experience working on projects under Part 201 and Part 213
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current)
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills.
• Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
