Arcadis is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Places business area to support telecommunication infrastructure projects. This position is based at the client site in Detroit, MI in a hybrid remote/ office work environment with periodic site visits.

Role description:
You will be joining a talented team of professionals that focus on delivering outstanding client service helping them program, plan, and deliver their capital investments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support large fiber infrastructure projects. and associated budgets and schedules, including coordinating all deliverables and requirements of the entire cross-functional project team. Manage a team of Subcontractors, Design Partners, Construction Managers, Field Construction Inspectors and Project Coordinators to ensure projects are completed as planned.
Role accountabilities:
Day-to-day management of the planning, engineering, construction, and handover aspects of the assigned capital projects and all associated deliverables
Coordinating design reviews and approvals between owner and contractors
Coordinating, scheduling, and reporting activities related to stakeholder management, plant operations, and project communications.
Ensuring that all appropriate technical standards are applied during the project implementation.
Managing work to follow state, local, and Federal requirements.
Ensuring all deliverables and constructed work are in conformance with the quality standards set forth in the contract documents
Providing timely, accurate, progress reports, cash flow and cost of completion forecasts
Maintaining project files, meetings records and correspondence, and project controls information.
Approving all purchases, procurement, and payments on the projects and challenges daily.
Key Skills:
Have experience working on large construction infrastructure projects
Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and PMIS systems
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills that are clear and concise
Be capable of managing multiple, unique assignments simultaneously
Have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Be self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible; have the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges daily
Be health, safety, and quality focused
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
5 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification
Telecommunication infrastructure and network experience
