Title: Project Manager Level II
Location: Remote (U.S. Only)
Duration: 51 Weeks 3 days (11 months 25 days) + extensions
Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Skillset / Experience:
Project Manager Level II
Responsibilities:
- General project management and coordination.
- Drive and support projects and initiatives for a Research Team.
- Move initiatives forward, escalate concerns early, and resolve open issues that prevent progress while maintaining respectful relationships.
- Predict roadblocks and prioritize competing needs with creative solutions.
- Contribute to process improvement and documentation updates.
- Provide flexible, tailored approaches to meet team needs and navigate blocks quickly.
- Create and maintain resources for the internal knowledge database.
- Manage content development and editing for internal team digests, including:
- UX Research Wiki maintenance and new page builds.
- Monthly Research Manager Digest curation.
- Quarterly Research Compliance Digest curation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of independent operation, creativity, and attention to detail, with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments requiring time management and task prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of HTML and basic web design elements.
- Familiarity with research and/or UX design principles.
- Experience working in the tech industry.
Must-Have HARD Skills:
- Project Management (end-to-end project delivery experience).
- Communications (documentation, planning, and management).
- Stakeholder management.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- HTML familiarity.
- Experience with newsletters.
- Communications management (e.g., newsletters, editing).
Difficult Aspects of the Job:
- Must be a self-starter, capable of finding solutions independently using internal resources like the wiki and Workplace groups. Not all solutions will have pre-existing documentation.
