Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Project Lead & Business Development Specialist. This hybrid position combines the responsibilities of project management, payroll specialization, relationship creation, business development, and sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for fostering client relationships, driving sales, and managing projects with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and seamless integration with our HR and payroll services.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise to ensure successful project completion.
Payroll Specialist:
- Provide expert support to the payroll department, assisting with complex payroll tasks, compliance, and process improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on payroll-related matters for both internal teams and clients.
Relationship Creation:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Coordinate between HR, payroll, and clients to ensure clear communication and effective service delivery.
- Foster trust and rapport with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the client base.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Sales Incentives: Earn competitive sales commissions based on new business acquisition and sales performance.
Customer Retention:
- Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and ensure long-term customer retention.
- Monitor client accounts to identify risks and opportunities, proactively addressing any concerns.
- Retention Bonuses: Receive bonuses based on customer retention metrics and the successful renewal of client contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, payroll, HR, or sales.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve targets.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and CRM tools.
