Job Description:
This position performs IT Project Management duties in support of client Data Center Services and Operations. This position reports to the Director of client & Operation. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of independent judgment. Performs consultative work providing program guidance, status reporting, works with various level of management, understands IT procurement procedures, and budget forecast/analysis. Responsibilities include consultation with many aspects of the client Infrastructure and Operations team. IT project management includes managing continual cost-benefit / savings analysis and operation action plans. Provides increased visibility into the allocation of client project, resources; funds, hardware, and software; Reviews critical operational initiatives and regulatory documents. Tracks budgets versus actuals. Prepares and track security exemption request. Prepares canned and ad hoc performance reports to cleint and management. Assist in developing agency computer operations and management information systems budgets. Works with Director on fiscal and budget management supporting Data Center Services infrastructure and operations.

Required Skills:-
- 7 years of Extensive experience performing all aspects of IT project management duties in large data center environments, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- 6 years of Experience reviewing critical operational initiatives and regulatory documents.
- 6 years of Solid working knowledge of MS Office suite of applications including Project.
- 6 years of Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 6 years of Ability to facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
- 6 years of Excellent at monitoring project deliverables and milestones to ensure they are met according to the project plan.
- 5 years of Proficient generating project status reports for different management layers.
- 5 years of Solid working with IT procurements, budget, forecasts and analysis for the different projects.
- 5 years of Experience working closely with internal and external vendors and/or service providers to ensure our operations requirements are appropriately provisioned.
- 5 years of Strong managing continual cost-benefit / savings analysis and operation action plans.
- 5 years of Proficient at preparing canned and ad hoc system performance reports for management.
- 5 years of Experience performing cost containment functions which includes analysis of the storage utilization and the backup and recovery data.
- 3 years of Experience working on government fiscal and budget management supporting data centers.
- 2 years of Experience using Remedy, ITSM, PPM, Archer, Jira and ServiceNow.
- 2 years of Experience preparing and tracking security exemption requests.
Rate: $44.00 to $54.00/Hr DOE
