Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Project Geologist (PG/GIT) to join our engineering team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects and be part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. The candidate must be skilled in Geology, CAD, and Cross Sections, and have your GIT or PG.

Responsibilities:

Conduct geological mapping, surface sampling, and subsurface drilling to collect data for engineering projects.
Assist in the preparation of geological reports and maps, interpret and evaluate geological data.
Perform geological modeling and interpretation using CAD software.
Develop geological cross sections and profiles.
Participate in field investigations and site inspections.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to provide geological input for engineering design.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in geology and related disciplines.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
4+ years of experience in Geology or a related field.
GIT (Geologist in Training) certification is required.
PG (Professional Geologist) strongly preffered
Proficient in CAD software and geological modeling tools.
Excellent knowledge of geological mapping and interpretation.
Experience in preparing geological reports and maps.
Strong understanding of geological cross sections and profiles.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with environmental regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
