Client Overview:
Our client is the leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services. They are rapidly growing in the Orlando market, and have over 300 offices around the world. They are looking to add a Project Financial Analyst to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $40/hr
Position Overview:
The Project Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Financial Managers in gathering critical data on projects including budget tracking, forecasting, and project analysis.
Responsibilities of the Project Financial Analyst:
- Assisting with project setup, maintenance, and updates to project budgets.
- Implementing and executing proper controls to proactively support, monitor, and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs, labor hours, and quantities for projects.
- Assisting PMs to resolve payment or labor charging discrepancies identified on review of Project Status Reports.
- Assisting with data entry, data reconciliation, and cost calculations.
- Assisting in calculating monthly subcontractor accruals and quarterly financial updates.
- Ad hoc reporting as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications for the Project Financial Analyst:
- 3 – 5 years as a Project Manager, Project Analyst, or Financial Analyst.
- Oracle ERP experience preferred.
- Strong spreadsheet skills using Excel.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Extraordinary attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with others to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
