Project Executive/ VP - Civil Construction - Gpac

PROJECT EXECUTIVE/ VP - CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

Colorado Based Company seeking a PROJECT EXECUTIVE/ VP - CIVIL CONSTRUCTION to oversee and lead their tight knit but welcoming Civil Construction group. Top-Notch company focused on Earthwork, Water Storage and Federal Infrastructure.  Been around 50+years and have solid and steady work… $40mil+ revenue. Work is regional to the area. Company strives to create a positive work environment that will attract and retain the industries finest.

Qualifications needed but no limited to:

• 8+yrs minimum experience with similar site development projects and scope
• Experience overseeing safety, equipment, manpower, maintenance, fleet vehicles, tools, processes, software, hardware, systems, feedback loop, communication, personnel management, training, leadership, department documentation, etc.
• Assertive, intense, independent, organized and thorough personality
• BS in Const Mgmt or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• HCSS, Microsoft, Agtek, Carlson, Autodesk, Bluebeam experience
• Review of project plans, specifications and project documentation
• Takeoff and scope review
• Produce effective, timely and accurate submittals
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding sub-quotes, insurance, qualifications
• Evaluate and compare subcontractor / supplier quotes
• Estimate Heavy Civil work scopes
• Develop and manage project schedules
• Manage project information regarding safety, production and costs
• Leadership in a safe and professional work environment
• Familiarity of DOT municipalities
