Job Description

A Construction Estimator, helps businesses and individuals determine how much projects will cost and whether they have enough funds in their budgets. Their duties include predicting the costs of labour, supplies, and materials, getting estimates from subcontractors, and preparing detailed reports for clients.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project scope and specifications.

- Identify material needs and get subcontractor proposals.

- Resolve discrepancies and complete estimates timely.

- Present estimates and prepare cost evaluations.

- Maintain cost data and contribute to team efforts.

- Prepare quantity takeoffs and attend client meetings.

- Present proposals and follow up to close sales.

Qualifications

- Experience in construction estimating.

- Proficient in reading plans and specifications.

- Knowledge of plants, irrigation, and hardscape.

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

- AutoCAD and MS Office.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Construction Estimating: 2-5 years
