Project Engineer - Transportation - Gpac

Responsibilities:

- Participating on project teams as needed for a variety of projects, including roadway rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction, intersection design, traffic signal design, traffic studies, and shared-use path projects.

- Providing support and/or project lead for planning, design, and reporting on various transportation projects.

- Providing construction oversight and management on various transportation projects.

- Ensuring compliance with IDOT standards and procedures, specifically in relation to Phase I/Phase II design requirements and MFT requirements.

- Utilizing MicroStation and traffic modeling software (such as Highway Capacity Software or Synchro) to support project design and analysis.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

- EIT secured or ability to secure.

- Entry level to five (5) years of experience in transportation projects.

- Knowledge of IDOT standards and procedures.

- Experience with MicroStation and traffic modeling software is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Valid driver's license.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
