Position Overview:
Switch Electric is currently looking for a Project Engineer to join the team. You will be a key member of our project management team, responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of mission-critical and data center projects. Your expertise in electrical engineering and project management will contribute to the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the workflow of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Submittals.
- Establish and manage tracking logs.
- Perform material and equipment inspections to ensure quality installations.
- Establish and manage logs to track rental equipment and material.
- Perform quantity takeoffs to assist in estimating new projects.
- Assist in quality control and commissioning documentation.
- Assist in closeout activities, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted to the owner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 1+ year of experience as a project engineer, preferably working with electrical projects or other related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
