Our company has recently been awarded a large, multi-year project that will require a full-time staff engineer located at the project site.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with project management, and team member coordination
- Assist in coordinating and the completion of field construction quality control programs, quality assurance, and code compliance activities
- Manage project plans, submittals, and RFIs for relevant team members
- Track and organize field and laboratory quality documentation
- Manage Daily staffing coordination between field and office personnel as well as subcontractors
- Maintain and communicate project schedule to assure timely assignment of personnel to tasks and Inspection Requests (IR’s)
- Process reports & upload documents to Procore and Project Inertia document control sites and construction management software programs
- Assist in maintaining project NCR and RFI tracking and related follow up
- Provide support to engineering and construction team related to daily work assignments, attend project meetings, and maintain follow-up correspondence
- Back up support to other team members
- Additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor in support of field operations
CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field required
- Familiarity with HCAI, DSA, and California Building Code requirements preferred
- Self-starter with strong resilience, hardworking, focused, with a high level of initiative
- Detail oriented with solid organizational and priority management skills
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software
- Familiarity with construction management software programs
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
- Must contribute to a positive team-based work environment
- Provide administrative support to team leaders and project managers and resolve team-level conflicts
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and professionally respond to questions from clients
