Project Engineer at AllTek Staffing

AllTek Staffing is partnering with a growing midstream company it the Pittsburgh region to help them find an exceptional Project Engineer for a 6-12 temporary assignment.  This role has potential to last longer and will bring added support to their engineering teams.

Job Details:

This is a long-term temporary assignment
401k is available after 90 days

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Applies applicable transmission and gathering pipeline industry and company standards and practices to all design work
• Frame engineering/operational problems and propose solutions
• Monitor and support engineering related activities as related to field construction projects
• Prepare written procedures to facilitate construction, maintenance, pipeline integrity assessments and operation of gas transmission and gathering systems
• Provide analysis, design, specification and cost estimates for jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional natural gas gathering and transmission systems
• Provide technical support to field as needed
• Prepare and present technical reports on projects
• Contribute to the development of the budget and containment of project costs
• Plan, develop scope of work and manage pipeline design/construction and integrity assessment projects
• Gathering and transmission pipeline design and/or pipeline integrity management experience preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings/schematics and other design documents
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with people at all levels both within and outside the company.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards including applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, laws, and codes, ASME Piping Codes, National Electric Code, CFR 182, DOT, and PHMSA rules and regulations.

Experience / Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
• 3 years’ relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years of project engineering experience.
