POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer is project, product or process, management using new and/or existing technologies, processes or materials. Also responsible for product qualification, process planning and implementation, quality planning, work instructions and assisting with sustaining engineering.

Responsible for all aspects of Project Management including but not limited to identify project scope; generates and maintains flow charts, project plans, schedules, identifies, investigates, resolves, and tracks project risks, setting up meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up.
Process concept generation and implementation
Provides supportive tooling as required
Establish, modify, implement, optimize, and monitor systems, processes and procedures to improve and provide timely and efficient workflow
Investigate and solve problems, create and monitor tests, implement and monitor product/project improvements
Perform engineering changes conforming to internal quality requirements
Creates, maintains, and revises Engineering Documents and Work Instructions as required
Customer and vendor interaction including provide engineering help to customers and vendors as required as well as understand and communicate customer expectations to appropriate team members.
Preparation of product specifications for manufacturing and quality assurance
Works with production on smooth product manufacturing start-up.
Trains all supervisory personnel in the proper use and operation of engineering documents and/or tooling as required
Directly interface with production for manufacturing and problem solving
Performs other duties as assigned.
