About the Job
Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering firm in CA, is hiring a Project Engineer. We are looking for a Field Engineer or Project Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. Experience with educational facilities and/or sports facilities projects is a plus. Experience with projects permitted through the Los Angeles Department of Building & Safety is also a plus. This role involves a blend of office and field engineering tasks, providing direct support to the Project Manager and Director.
Responsibilities:- Document control, including maintaining the client’s PMIS system.
- Independently complete site field walks, take and organize progress photos, and generate Daily Reports.
- Log/track RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Change Orders, Directives, Meeting Minutes, and project correspondence using Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder) PMIS software.
- Work under the direction of the Project Manager and Director
- Collaborate closely with a small team
- Take detailed project meeting minutes
- Process submittals and ensure timely approvals
- Assist in additional office and field engineering tasks as required to support the project
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Valid driver’s license
Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year
Work Environment: Hybrid position, primarily on-site with 1-2 potential days per week remote (subject to project needs).
