We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the Transportation group through the preparation of design aspects of a total work product. These include but are not limited to roadway design, stormwater management design, utility layout and sizing. Main Responsibilities:Engineering focus will be transportation design. Duties and responsibilities for the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:- Preparation of designs and reports
- Performing calculations
- CADD/Civil 3D
- Maintain familiarity with applicable WMD, FDEP, local codes, and requirements and ensure compliance
- Communicating with project team(s), clients, and agencies
- Perform site visits as needed
- Attend external meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering
- Up to three years of experience with transportation design
- Must have the ability to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) for design activities
- Must have the ability to obtain PE Registration within five years of graduation
- Must pass mandatory DMV check
