I have an exciting in-office opportunity as a Project Engineer near Addison, TX, with a pioneering leader in energy management. Renowned for delivering AI-enabled Industrial IoT solutions and creating digital twins to drive customer profitability, this organization is at the forefront of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, making energy use safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly.
What You'll Do:
As a BAS Project Engineer, your contributions will be critical in ensuring energy management systems' seamless installation and functionality. Here's what a typical day might include:
• Modifying and updating design drawings while maintaining red-line documents.
• Collaborating with project managers and procurement teams to monitor budget risks and material delivery.
• Validating hardware and project installations to meet design requirements.
• Diagnosing communication issues, troubleshooting software and hardware, and tracking resolution.
• Coordinating with contractors for equipment installation and addressing issues independently.
• Conducting quality control and safety audits.
• Overseeing system functionality and performance, including setup of ISP connections and remote site connectivity.
On some days, you may also:
• Re-commission devices, equipment, and software.
• Prepare customer training manuals and deliver customized training sessions.
What You'll Bring:
• 4+ years of experience as a Systems Application Engineer with related industry knowledge.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with customers and contractors.
• Expertise in HVAC and security installations.
• Proficiency in building systems and the application of cutting-edge technology.
• Proven experience coordinating project team activities and working on-site with trades, commissioning agents, and customers.
What You'll Receive:
• $115,000-$125,000 annually.
• 401K with a $1-for-$1 match up to 6% (with a Roth option).
