• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and construction safety standards.

About the Role
As a Project Engineer at Oltmans, you will be instrumental in supporting our Project Managers in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including healthcare, education, and industrial construction. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for construction excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project submittals, RFIs, and documentation to maintain seamless workflows.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Prepare, review, and manage owner and subcontractor change orders, project close-out documents, and other critical records.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Perform regular site walks and assist project supervision with documentation creation (RFI’s, monthly reports, extra work order tracking, photos, etc.).
• Review subcontractor proposals and begin to author scope(s) of work for minor trades.
• Support bidding and estimating processes.
