Location:
- The position will be based in our Vancouver, WA office, with projects in Washington and Oregon.
- Candidates must live or be able to relocate to within 50 miles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
- Coordinating with Superintendents to comply with project goals and expectations.
- Communicate with Project Manager, Superintendents and Sub Contractors as required to resolve problems.
- Research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors, to verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawing and specifications.
- Assist with Contract Compliance & Administration.
- Prepare Submittals, Change Orders and RFIs.
- Develop job essential data including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man hour, and equipment.
- Subcontractor Management.
- Assisting Project Managers with cost controls and project changes.
- Project Closeout Documentation.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in construction-related field of engineering or comparable work experience.
- Ability to read and understand project owner specifications and engineered drawings.
- Prior DOT experience preferred.
- 3 years Civil Construction experience.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Highly motivated problem solver with a strong work ethic and passion for excellence.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Solid organization/time management skills.
- Must have computer experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be authorized to work in the United Sates.
- Must relocate to area before starting work.
