About the Job
The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering and technical aspects of assigned projects from inception through completion. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Duties
- Manage and oversee engineering projects to ensure compliance with technical specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to define project requirements and scope.
- Prepare project proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones using project management software.
- Coordinate and supervise engineering activities and personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report regularly on project status to stakeholders.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings, provide technical guidance, and resolve engineering issues as they arise.
- Providing estimates and applying MAIC estimating procedure.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of construction experience.
- Understand Process & Flow Diagrams and Piping Isometric drawings is required.
- Have a construction background is required.
- Experience working for Mechanical Contractors is required.
- Will be using your own vehicle (reimbursed for gas)
- Bachelors degree is required.
