Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced project level Civil/Geotechnical Engineer or Certified Engineering Geologist to join our growing practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage projects or be assigned to major projects to perform geotechnical related tasks under the supervision of Senior Project Manager. You will join a robust 26-person team located in the Temecula/Palm Desert/San Diego office and collaborate closely with our 350+ team members statewide.
Responsibilities
•Manage geotechnical investigations for major development/construction projects
•Supervise and mentor staff engineers and technicians
•Train staff in basic engineering procedures and techniques
•Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work and budgets for new projects
•Prepare and/or review technical reports
•Interpret laboratory test data for use in engineering analyses
•Supervise engineering analyses for foundation design, slope stability and seismic hazards
•Review grading and foundation plans for conformance with recommendations
•Develop and maintain an active client base

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or engineering geology
•5+ years of experience in managing geotechnical aspects of land development and construction projects
•California Professional registration (RCE or CEG) is required
•Strong organization and written/oral communication skills
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and industry peers.
