Project Engineer - Gpac

I am recruiting for a Manufacturing Company in need of a Project Engineer. The company is well-established in the industry and has cultivated a supportive environment with a family-like atmosphere.

Job Summary:  Project Engineer is responsible for fulfilling assignments, individually or as part of a project team.  Assignments may include involvement in multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities will include:

• Receive project assignments from Project Manager and/or Technical Lead
• Write PLC and HMI Application Software
• Configure AC and DC Drive Equipment
• Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings
• Report on project status and communicate technical issues
• Develop technical documentation and specifications
• Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing

Qualifications:

• Experience in programming/configuring PLC’s (Allen Bradley, Siemens, & GE), drives (Siemens, ABB, & Allen Bradley), and various HMI packages
• Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in automation products, software, and complimentary areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to lead all phases of a project while managing critical milestones and customers

Salary:

$80 – 110k (based on experience)
