Job Details
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the execution of commercial tenant improvement (TI) construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of project team including architects, engineers, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
-Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in commercial tenant improvement (TI) and commercial ground-up construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of construction project management principles and practices.
- Strong familiarity with construction and project management software tools.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
- OSHA safety certification is a plus.
