Project Engineer Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred Construction related degree (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.)
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and construction-related documents
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project a plus
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Professional attitude and experience
Project Engineer Responsibilities
• Produce, monitor, track and distribute project ASI's, CCD's, RFI's and Submittals
• Assist in procurement of building permits, Certificate of Occupancy, and other requirements
• Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• Attend weekly or biweekly OAC and/or Subcontractor Coordination meetings
• Coordinate distribution of bidding documents to prospective subs and suppliers
• Document construction progress through weekly site visits and photographs
• Assisting in the coordination and securing of owner furnished equipment and furnishings
• Help to create and maintain accurate as-built drawings onsite
• Maintain project record documents including the assembly of final O&M manuals and As-built Drawings
• Assist Project Manager in miscellaneous project duties
• Fulfill special project needs as they arise.
