Project Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is seeking direct-hire candidates to fill a Project Engineer role with a partnering company near Commerce, Georgia. The firm is looking for candidates to assist with bid and submittal packages and manage the technical aspects of order fulfillment.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Permanent
Expected Pay Range: $24.00 to $31.00 hourly rate, depending on experience and certification
Location: Commerce, Georgia

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of project bidding and estimation
• Background in construction industry or engineered architectural product experience.
• Ability to read architectural plans, estimate project costs, and develop scopes/bills of material

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:

• Assist in creating bid and submittal packages.
• Solve condition-specific application challenges and review technical markups.
• Serve as technical coordinator on submittal package/shop drawing projects.
• Review all incoming markups/RFIs/PCOs
• Submit for revision and resubmittal with engineering department.
• Compare current BOM with original scope and prepare quotes for scope changes.
• Consult with management on final price negotiations.
