Project Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an immediate need for a Project Engineer in Atlanta, GA, working on an OEM-Funded Military Aircraft project.

This is estimated to be a 6 month to 1 year contract assignment.

Overall function is to assist the Engineering Lead and Project Manager ensure system hardware, software, electronic and control elements are compatible and capable of meeting overall performance, quality and manufacturability requirements.

Job details:

• Assist with the planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating of the technical aspects of the project
• Generate 3D CAD and related drawings as needed
• Participate in customer meetings
• Assist with resolving customer, engineering, and project management issues
• Assist with configuration management
• Assist other team members as needed
• Provide input and/or develop schedules, test plans, WBS, MDL, statements of work, etc.

Requirements:

• 3D CAD Design experience (SolidWorks, Catia)
• Ability to read & interpret aircraft schematics.
• Aviation or aerospace experience.
• Engineering OR Technical Background.
• Experience supporting aircraft electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.

Preferred:

• SolidWorks

Shift: 6:30AM – 3:30 or 7AM – 4PM. Get in early and beat the traffic. MUST BE A LOCAL CANDIDATE.

Pay range: $35/hour (~$73,000 salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months - 1 year
