About being our Project Engineer - Airports

As our Project Engineer, you will join the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) project team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals to plan & design their next wave of capital investments, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements, and more.

Responsibility Highlights for our Project Engineer - Airports

Our Project Engineer manages & produces engineering deliverables to support the planning, design, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance of LAWA facilities. Engineering Disciplines may include Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Transportation, Geotechnical, etc.

Common tasks & deliverables may include Planning Studies, Design-Standards, Project Definition Book (PDB), Basis of Design (BOD), Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Plan-Check & Permitting, Construction Documents, Bidding & Procurement Support, Construction Administration, Stakeholder Outreach, Drawings, Specifications, Technical Reports, Presentations, etc.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Project Engineer - Airports

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• 10+ Years of Professional Experience, preferably on airport projects

• A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $63.00 - $70.18/hour depending on experience. Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
