Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer, reporting to the Programs Director, you will:
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, integration, and analysis of avionics solutions to meet program requirements.
- Provide technical interface to customers and project teams across multiple projects, performing engineering design evaluations.
- Review customer product requests and propose design changes to existing products to meet requirements.
- Support avionics development and design, including system architecture design, wiring diagram reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate product designs for conformance to engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and specifications.
- Conduct system/software integration activities to verify product functionality.
- Develop compliance matrices against technical requirements.
- Become highly knowledgeable in the architecture, design, and function of our client's avionics products.
- Provide technical assistance and recommend alterations to improve product quality and procedures.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 4 years related avionics experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems, integration, and development processes.
- Experience with spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally, typically 10 – 15 weeks per year, with potential for higher travel commitments based on program needs.
