Description:
The client is seeking a II hybrid to MTC 15-20 hours/week in OFFICE .
- As a valued colleague on our Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) team, you will provide support to the Program Management Team by routine and non-routine clerical and administrative functions including but not limited to sending correspondence, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, event management and providing other administrative tasks as needed.
- You will be a member of the OMWI which is responsible for working collaboratively with stakeholders across Fannie Mae to embed diversity and inclusion into all business and activities of the enterprise, while managing related regulatory requirements, driving a culture of inclusion and belonging and measuring progress across various strategic initiatives.
- You will be reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.
- Minimal/Preferred Skills:
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage calendars, schedules, and events. Keeping track of meetings, deadlines, and ERG activities is crucial.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with ERG members, leadership, and other stakeholders. This includes drafting emails, meeting minutes, and newsletters.
- Time Management: Efficiently prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and support multiple activities simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Trello). Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Event Planning: Experience in organizing events, workshops, and meetings, including coordinating logistics, booking venues, and managing registrations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well with diverse groups of people, demonstrating empathy, cultural sensitivity, and inclusivity.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handling sensitive information appropriately and maintaining confidentiality.
- Preferred Skills
- Project Management: Skills in managing projects from inception to completion, including setting goals, monitoring progress, and reporting on outcomes.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and address challenges that may arise during the coordination of ERG activities.
- Marketing and Promotion: Skills in creating promotional materials and strategies to increase participation and engagement in ERG activities.
- Data Management: Ability to manage and analyze data related to ERG membership, participation, and feedback to improve initiatives and report on impact.
