Maximus is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in Houston, TX. The Project Coordinator is responsible for analyzing existing internal work processes and recommending streamlined solutions. This position aims to innovate processes by using various IT strategies within the organization. The Project Coordinator works closely with Management, Compliance and IT to assess project risks and provide solutions.
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review existing operational procedures and recommend working solutions;
- Create, maintain and monitor project plans and project schedules;
- Document and follow up on all necessary action professionally and timely;
- Define project scope and objectives to keep all parties informed;
- Ensure project deadlines are met and communicate any changes;
- Create and organize timelines for goals and objectives;
- Organize information and data as requested by internal leadership; and
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for organizational use.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consolidate, assess, and interpret basic data sets;
- Work closely and collaboratively with Compliance team and Management to identify trends and anomalies in operational processes;
- Ability to work independently and within a team as necessary;
- Ability to work with tight deadlines;
- Attend meetings, as necessary; and
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
