OVERVIEW:
Project coordinators work to assist project managers teams with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Activity/Tasks: Responsible for coordination any necessary project related tasks and activities to include:
- Requests, organizes, maintains, and routes (as needed) project files/documentation which may include permits WO’s (Work Orders), NTP’s (Notice to Proceed), NOC’s (Notice of Commencement), NOT’s (Notice of Termination), BOM’s (Build of Material), Deployment Package(s), related notifications, personnel assigned to site, Letter of Consent (s), close out requirements, special inspection letters, etc.
- Prioritizing project sites and tasks to ensure schedule deadlines are met.
- Requests and reviews site surveys and construction drawings, tracks revisions to construction plan.
- Coordinates utility provider process and assures timely delivery of services, obtains related application statuses from local jurisdictions.
- Responsible for scheduling final site inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Preparing, updating and/or maintaining project trackers as directed.
- Provides assistance with the preparation of closeout package (COP’S) documentation to include all utilities, ensures COPs are produced in alignment with Betacom quality standards and contains all necessary items prior to release.
- Pulls SM (Site Manager) reports, retrieves and/or uploads necessary documentation.
- Confirms receipt of appropriate permits and approvals prior to initiating Notice to Proceed (NTP).
- Coordinates releases and initiates NTP’s.
- Responsible for confirming with field or conducting final site inspections.
- Coordinates and provides sub-contractor requirements.
- Coordinates and issues department crew member schedules to crew members, related staff, and management team.
- Providing status reports as requested to customer representatives, notifying client of issues/concerns with project including companies plan to address.
- Providing site information to 3rd party vendors regarding site conditions, specifications etc.
- Completed Construction Drawing(s) and Closeout Package release(s) to client.
- Direct interface with Client for power applications.
- Communicates with Client regularly ensuring project deadlines are met and obtains site acceptance verification from Client.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of tower site requirements and specifications.
- Knowledge in site development processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Skilled in courteous, professional written and oral communication.
- Ability to complete work effectively with little or no direction.
- Ability to communicate and interact with co-workers and various business contacts in a courteous, professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 2-3 years of industry related experience in similar role (required).
- Previous experience working with project trackers, change orders, closeout packages and construction drawings (required).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (required).
- High attention to detail with ability to organize and prioritize tasks and documentation.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook (required).
