Job Description:
The position is required to provide project management methodology. Responsibilities: * Manage and communicate project objectives * Proactively identify changes in scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to reassess and amend scope, budget, and timeline * Identify and mitigate risk * Determine what constitutes successful project closure * Gain acceptance and sign-off * Project scope definition * Project kickoff * Detailed project planning activities * Communication plan * Project team meetings * Risk management and mitigation * Timeline, cost, and scope management * Change control process * Project Execution * Status and project communication * Lessons Learned
MUST HAVE MS PROJECT work within the PMO support resource management
The role would work directly with the hiring manager in doing the following items:
1. Participation in project planning and assessment sessions
2. Taking and following up on meeting notes
3. Updating our project management tool as required - Changepoint
4. Updating our resource management tool - Tempus
5. Following up on action items and escalating as necessary
6. Developing Microsoft Project Plans...most specifically effort-based planning, leveled resource allocations, baselining, and reporting
7. Assisting with presentation development using Microsoft Project
8. Potential Ability to travel onsite once every couple months if needed
