Job Summary: The Project Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Project Management Team.
Job Duties:
- Supports Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with billing, invoicing, and team management initiatives.
- Updates and manages project tracker with the most current information.
- Receives and responds to email correspondence from internal and external stakeholders.
- Applies technical knowledge and understanding to keep projects on schedule to be completed.
- Provides administrative support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
- Outgoing with a strong desire to develop client relationships and interface with clients as part of project execution.
- Maintain all project communications through regular review meetings.
- Assists with meeting all contractual design requirements.
- Administrative duties as assigned including performance reviews and career development.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with Company's Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
- Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization's goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a Vestal Corporation office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will/ is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry 10 lbs. on a regular basis is required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture is required.
- 0-3 years of progressive experience in design/engineering.
- Familiar with one or two highly related design disciplines (e.g., mechanical & electrical).
- Knowledge of design codes and design standards is preferred.
- Familiarity in managing the design of BIM-based design projects.
- SCRUM experience is preferred.
- Lean Design and Construction experience is preferred.
- Ability to apply engineering handbooks and manuals.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with REVIT and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
