Salary: $55K - 65K / Year
The role aims to provide crucial support to Project Managers concerning staffing, tooling, equipment, and project tracking, ensuring smooth project execution and successful completion.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Efficiently plan, control, and monitor projects from the quotation stage to contract completion and final accounts, maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and clients.
- Implement robust project cost tracking and financial control mechanisms to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Generate quotes and conduct estimating for small to medium-sized engineering projects following provided training and utilizing the Company’s standard commercial approach.
- Offer general commercial and project support to the business unit to facilitate the achievement of budgeted results.
- Foster effective liaison throughout the sales and order securing process, as well as during contract works, collaborating with personnel on a national and international level.
- Regularly report on contract performance in accordance with Company standard requirements, promptly identifying and communicating potential opportunities, variations, and risks to the Project Manager.
- Define project scope and methods of work while maintaining a proactive approach to client relationship building and market share expansion.
- Ensure all projects adhere to Safety, Quality, and other Company systems and procedures, prioritizing compliance always.
- Engage in effective national and international liaison activities as necessary.
- Assist in redefining and improving on-site contract controls, labor management, and quality standards to meet organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with all Company Divisions to ensure consistent and effective service delivery, fostering internal and external communication.
- Facilitate national and international coordination and mobility to support project requirements effectively.
Project Coordinator Qualifications:
- Proven background in preconstruction roles.
- Ability to support project managers in planning and monitoring projects.
- Experience in cost tracking and budget management.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with teams and clients.
- Ability to identify and solve challenges during preconstruction.
