Role Overview: We are looking for an innovative and eager Project Coordinator to coordinate all aspects of projects for our organization specifically related to the 4 key priorities outlined in our mission statement. If you have a passion to uplift the community in North St Louis and project management experience, this role may be for you!
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures project schedule and critical path sequence is accurate and up to date, including Identifying and reporting delays
Track and communicate key projected milestones to relevant internal departments, board members and relevant external stakeholders
Work directly with subcontractor’s office and field personnel
Assist in managing the bid, review and award process if needed
Develop contract scope of works and pay-scales for bidding
Assemble appropriate documents and plans for bid packages
Calculate quantities from construction plans for budgeting and bidding
Review and understand land development contracts awarded to subcontractors for development projects
Represent the NorthStar organization in on-site meetings needed, including on the behalf of the CEO if needed
Oversee, review and submit for approval purchase orders related to open projects
Track current market pricing for budget development and identify budget shortfalls
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national codes, ordinances, and regulations as well as organization policy
Administrative duties as required by North Star executives
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and mission of the organization
Supervisory Responsibilities
May have supervisory responsibilities through various contracts
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience relevant work experience in development preferred
Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus
Experience working in a startup environment highly preferred
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
A passion for the missions organization and the advancement of the St Louis community as a whole
Demonstrated ability to think and plan at a high-level
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and exercise confidentiality
Highly organized and self-motivated; consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Computer-savvy with an understanding of technology hardware, software, and databases
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google suite
Salary: $55,000-$65,000
Reports To: Operations Manager & CEO
Candidates must be in the St Louis area. Hybrid work environment.
