Summary: The Procurement Project Coordinator will support the procurement organization in areas such as project execution, reporting and communication for ongoing projects. Great Wolf Resorts is expanding and this is an exciting opportunity to add value and grow with a team that is an important part of Great Wolf's successful expansion. The Procurement Project Coordinator will assume responsibility for owning and managing specific tasks related to broader project procurement execution and delivery. The coordinator would work closely with construction project managers, accounting, design and third-party procurement agents and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The focus of this role will be around new builds, property refreshes, and CapEx projects including spec management and communication of brand standards. The coordinator would monitor and manage milestone schedules for budgets, shipping, delivery and installation for projects as directed by the Development Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage aspects of assigned new build and refurbishment projects
- Maintain day-to-day correspondence with internal and external sources
- Calculate, manage and communicate metrics relating to project execution and cost relative to budget
- Prepare and communicate changes in supply and material factors impacting total project and goods cost
- Review designer specifications for accuracy to ensure consistency to project concept, budget, and industry standards
- Monitor Procurement Agent and manufacturer schedules and support weekly calls to review status to delivery and deadlines
- Review and recommend approval of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) shop drawings and submittals
- Collaborate with Design, Development, Construction, Procurement Agents and other third parties on project execution
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in Procurement, Project/Supply Management, Interior Design or related field
- Experience in design support or procurement project management
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business partners, peers, and leaders
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to generate creative solutions
- Strong office and project organizational skills, attention to detail, accountability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills including ability to work in and manage large data sets; power user of excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working with and managing multiple 3rd party vendors
- Contract negotiation experience or relevant exposure
- Experience managing concurrent projects and multiple workstreams
