Responsibilities
We are hiring a Project Coordinator in Kansas City, Missouri to support US Marine Corps (USMC) enterprise-level hybrid cloud data center engineering, operations and cyber security requirements, and to enable USMC world-wide customers to execute critical missions.
What you will do:
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the Hybrid Cloud Services program for the USMC enterprise data center specifically focused on enabling processes, procedures and coordinating among various resource and technical managers to ensure successful mission accomplishment.
Your responsibilities will include the following activities
- Prioritize, coordinate and track project activities to include tasking work, compiling responses in a cohesive filing product and scheduling status and technical meetings.
- Scheduling, conducting and documenting meeting results including coordinating updates or corrections, publishing tasking and tracking tasks to completion.
- Draft documents and responses for program senior leaders for their review and ensure all components of original task are fully addressed.
- Review documentation prepared by program staff for accuracy, completeness to include applying editing skills; coordinate with technical writer as needed for formal document preparation and publication.
- Communicate and coordinate with senior government and contract personnel to assess project status, ensure timely responses, and obtain remediation or corrections as needed to meet project requirements.
- Support logistics and asset management staff in accomplishing resource and asset management requirements.
- Provide surge support to technical writer and knowledge management staff.
Qualifications
Required Experience/Education:
BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS + 6 years
Required Clearance & Certifications:
US ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
ITIL training-(Within 30 Days of start) we provide.

- Experience coordinating and managing tasks and projects to ensure timely, accurate, complete and professional results
- Knowledge and experience with traditional Project Management and Agile concepts and practices
- Expert attention to detail and organizational and time management skills to ensure multiple projects are delivered successfully
- Ability to manage and prioritize among multiple input sources and tasks simultaneously and provide effective and timely responses and ensure all requests and deadlines are addressed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including experience supporting senior government and contract leadership
- Expert skills with MS office tools such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, and Share-Point User/Site administrator; ability to schedule and facilitate on-line and voice conferences while presenting
- Experience with Remedy Report creation and Power BI Data Analytics
- Ability to create and manage information repositories and select most appropriate forms of asynchronous/synchronous and electronic vs in person communications
- Knowledge and familiarity with IT concepts and processes including data center operations and cloud technologies
- Knowledge and experience with IT Infrastructure Library/IT Service Management practices, ITIL training or certification desired
