About the Job
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will provide general project- and contract-level support to several large and multifaceted Federal contracts. The individual will support multiple Program and Project Managers with administrative support activities needed for the various contracts. Such activities may include assembling monthly progress reports, tracking budgets, and coordinating with other project team members. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills (oral and written) and be adept at preparing and tracking schedules and project deliverables.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Tracking, maintaining, and reporting project actions and deliverables
- Managing project calendars and due date deliverables and coordinating with Program/Project managers on important milestones
- Coordinating project and personnel logistics needs with the Operations Manager, as needed
- Serve as an expert resource for employees on Costpoint timekeeping and expense input and reporting
- Assist delivery team personnel with travel arrangements
- Assists with the development of research reports, program documentation, program analyses, financial reporting, and other project/program deliverables
- Supports the Project/Program Manager with the preparation, review, and editing of the Monthly Status Reports
- Supports the Project/Program Manager in the preparation of contract invoicing
- Supports the Project Controls Managers in providing and updating project financial data
- Ensures the dissemination of company policies and procedures to delivery team staff
- Develops briefings and provides education as needed for the on/off boarding of project team employees
- Provides back-up coverage within the program office, as required
Required Experience & Skills
- A minimum of two years of experience
- Professional attitude, teaming skills, and exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, proactive, and able to multitask with little to no supervision or prompting
- Ability to competently deal with frequently changing requirements
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer)
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Analytical techniques applied to project/program management
- Obtaining, verifying, and evaluating general and statistical information
Required Education
- Highschool Diploma
