About the Job
Selectek has an immediate need for a Project Coordinator in Kennesaw, Ga. In this role, you will be responsible for project coordination, project documentation, and vendor/client communication and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and/or Engineering a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Document/Project Controls.
Experience with Procore.
Understanding of supply-chain/vendor practices and typical requirements.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
A self-starter with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a fast-paced project-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Work with design, supply chain, manufacturing, and construction teams to optimize document transmission.
Utilize our document management system (Procore) to monitor and expedite vendor submittals, invoicing, purchase order information, delivery documentation, and turnover deliverables.
Work with other document control members to properly coordinate and route design drawings and assist with bid package development for vendors.
Develop a standardized document folder structure within Procore and maintain document accessibility by all users.
Coordinate and update project-specific Procurement Status Report (this will include updating schedule and vendor information weekly).
Expedite information/documents/delivery schedules with vendors. Monitor their progress with regard to adherence to contractual timelines and milestones.
Gain institutional knowledge of current document control processes. Continue to refine and re-configure our processes to better align with efficient digital execution. This will include the development of a document archival and retention process in conjunction with Procore procedures.
Work with on-site personnel to ensure that all documentation received at the job site level is adequately loaded and routed within Procore. This includes delivery information, turnover documentation, O&M Manuals, as-builts, or field-received drawings that need to be captured and routed.
Develop weekly expediting reports to forecast critical vendor/subcontractor submittal deliverables and/or equipment deliveries. These shall be presented to the project team during the weekly Project Procurement Meeting, and a weekly expediting report shall be developed at the end of each week.
Develop process monthly scorecard/checklist for all Expediting and Document Control Processes.
Perform drawing audits for both internal and enter project-specificity drawings.
