Job Description:
- Responsible for administrative aspects of assigned projects from award through completion including; but not limited to, planning, scheduling, subcontractor and material procurement, installation, invoicing, and close-out.
- Coordinate project requirements, related field tasks and activities with the Field Project Manager.
- Maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
- Enters data for new projects and change orders into the accounting system.
- Provide project financial oversight; including but not limited to, forecasting revenue, monthly invoicing, cashflow, and budget vs cost reviews (WIP reviews).
- Establish project milestones and analyze costs; Exposure to financial systems to review actual vs.
- estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine impact on the project; adjusts or corrects project plan and/or project cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals.
- When required, coordinate with Design Team for project design requirements.
- Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and subcontractors necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of the project within budget.
- Proactively communicate project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Work with Accounts receivable team to ensure timely payment from customer.
- Act as “our customer’s best service provider” by providing timely updates on project, quickly addressing concerns, and by regularly seeking feedback on our performance.
- Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
